  • Multi-layered solution to thin titanium<\/span><\/strong>In pursuit of even greater ball speed, the focus of the QUANTUM series drivers was to maximize the repulsion of the titanium face. While it’s possible to further thin a conventional titanium face and increase deflection, durability issues also arise, and the numerical limit for thinness has already been reached. So how could this problem be overcome? Callaway came up with the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating a multi-layered face.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Over 59,000 prototypes and 2.27 million simulations<\/span><\/strong>The newly introduced “TRI-FORCE Face,” as its name suggests, features a three-layer structure. It was perfected after over 59,000 face designs and over 2.27 million impact simulations. At impact with the ball, pressure is applied to the striking surface of the face and tension is applied to the backside of the face. The striking surface, which strikes the ball, is made of the same pressure-resistant titanium as the previous ELYTE series, but is 14% thinner than the previous model. This titanium and a thin layer of tension-resistant carbon fiber are layered with polymesh, a polymer material selected as the optimal interlayer. This three-layer structure allows for a thinner titanium face while maintaining durability, improving energy transfer efficiency and enabling precise control of the amount and speed of face deflection at impact.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • The thinner titanium further improves the trajectory correction effect of the AI \u200b\u200bdesign.<\/span><\/strong>The face, of course, incorporates Callaway’s AI design, which it has cultivated over many years. As mentioned above, the QUANTUM driver’s titanium section is significantly thinner than previous models, which makes the face more prone to deflection upon impact. This further strengthens the AI-designed control points, further enhancing the trajectory correction effect. In particular, even when striking the ball in various locations on the face, the increase or decrease in spin rate is significantly smaller than with the previous ELYTE, making it easier to maintain optimal spin. For example, even when you want to safely place the ball on the fairway with a heel shot, the driver prevents excessive spin, suppressing ball lift and minimizing distance loss.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • A 360\u00b0 carbon chassis is used to pursue distance and maneuverability.<\/span><\/strong>As the “♦♦♦” name suggests, the QUANTUM ♦♦♦ Driver is a model developed for professionals and advanced players. The head has a volume of 450cc and a pear-shaped design, inheriting the shape from the previous ELYTE ♦♦♦ Driver. To maximize distance and control, the 360\u00b0 carbon chassis utilizes carbon in both the crown and sole for flexible weight distribution. Three lofts are available: 8 (custom only), 9, and 10.5 degrees. It also features an adjustable hosel. A discrete weight is installed in the rear of the sole. By swapping the internal weight (approximately 9g) and weight (approximately 1g), you can select between a neutral bias (approximately 9g heel\/approximately 1g toe) and a fade bias (approximately 1g heel\/approximately 9g toe). The screw weight at the front of the sole weighs approximately 2g.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            According to “Strokes Gained,” a metric officially used by the PGA Tour and used to statistically evaluate the value of each player’s shot, distance is more important than accuracy, and increasing driver distance tends to improve average scores. This is because approach shots from shorter distances have a higher chance of landing on the green or getting close. Therefore, in developing the 2026 driver model, Callaway’s theme was “SPEED IS EVERYTHING.” In other words, the pursuit of even greater speed was key. To achieve this, the team explored how to maximize the repulsion power of the titanium face by minimizing its thickness. The industry’s first three-layered face, the “TRI-FORCE Face,” combines titanium with polymer and carbon fiber to deliver unprecedented increases in ball velocity and distance. A new series called “QUANTUM,” meaning “leap forward,” has been launched. The “QUANTUM ♦♦♦ Driver,” aimed at tour players and advanced players, is available at Select Stores. Its pear-shaped head measures 450cm3, and its 360\u00b0 carbon chassis provides highly maneuverable weight distribution for ball flight control. In addition to a front weight at the front of the sole, a new discrete weight at the rear of the sole allows for a choice of neutral or fade bias.
