  • Multi-layered solution to thin titanium<\/span><\/strong>In pursuit of even greater ball speed, the focus of the QUANTUM series drivers was to maximize the repulsion of the titanium face. While it’s possible to further thin a conventional titanium face and increase deflection, durability issues also arise, and the numerical limit for thinness has already been reached. So how could this problem be overcome? Callaway came up with the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating a multi-layered face.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Over 59,000 prototypes and 2.27 million simulations<\/span><\/strong>The newly introduced “TRI-FORCE Face,” as its name suggests, features a three-layer structure. It was perfected after over 59,000 face designs and over 2.27 million impact simulations. At impact with the ball, pressure is applied to the striking surface of the face, while tension is applied to the backside. The striking surface, which strikes the ball, is made of pressure-resistant titanium, as in previous ELYTE series models, but is 14% thinner than that of the previous ELYTE series. This titanium and a thin layer of tension-resistant carbon fiber are layered with polymesh, a polymer material selected as the optimal intermediate material. This three-layer structure allows for a thinner titanium face while maintaining durability, improving energy transfer efficiency and enabling highly precise control of the amount and speed of face deflection at impact.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The thinner titanium further improves the trajectory correction effect of the AI \u200b\u200bdesign.<\/span><\/strong>The face, of course, incorporates Callaway’s AI design, which it has cultivated over many years. As mentioned above, the QUANTUM driver’s titanium section is significantly thinner than previous models, which makes the face more prone to deflection at impact. This further strengthens the AI-designed control points, further enhancing the trajectory correction effect. In particular, even when hitting the ball at various points on the face, the increase or decrease in spin rate is significantly smaller than with the previous ELYTE model, making it easier to maintain optimal spin rates. For example, the design minimizes ball lift on heel shots without excessive spin increase, and minimizes spin reduction on toe shots, resulting in consistent<\/span> distance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A 360\u00b0 carbon chassis is used to reduce weight.<\/span><\/strong>The QUANTUM MAX FAST Driver is the lightest model in the series, offering excellent ball control and a high trajectory. Its 460cc head volume inherits the same shape as the previous ELYTE MAX FAST driver. To further reduce weight, the crown and sole feature a 360\u00b0 carbon chassis, increasing head speed and allowing for a smoother swing. The lofts are available in three styles for men: 9.5, 10.5, and 12 degrees (custom only), and two for women: 10.5 and 12 degrees. Despite its lightweight head, the driver also features an adjustable hosel. The screw weight at the front of the sole weighs approximately 2g.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • The lightest of the original shafts is the SPDSTAR.<\/span><\/strong>Another feature not to be missed is that the “QUANTUM” series uses original shafts with a wide variety of flexes and weights to provide a club that is perfect for each individual player. The current lineup includes three types: the completely original brands ATHLEMAX and SPDSTAR, and TENSEI GRAY, an existing brand shaft adjusted to suit the “QUANTUM”.         According to “Strokes Gained,” a metric officially used by the PGA Tour and used to statistically evaluate the value of each player’s shot in golf, distance is more important than accuracy, and increasing driver distance tends to improve average scores. This is because approach shots from shorter distances have a higher chance of landing on the green and getting close. Therefore, in developing the 2026 driver model, Callaway’s theme was “SPEED IS EVERYTHING.” In other words, the pursuit of even greater speed was key. To achieve this, the team explored how to maximize the repulsive power of the titanium face by minimizing its thickness. The industry’s first three-layered face, the “TRI-FORCE Face,” combines titanium with polymer and carbon fiber to deliver unprecedented increases in ball velocity and distance. A new series called “QUANTUM,” which means “leap forward,” has been launched. The “QUANTUM MAX FAST Driver” is a model that employs a 360\u00b0 carbon chassis to reduce the head weight, increasing speed and enabling a smooth swing. The form inherits that of the previous ELYTE MAX FAST Driver, and is designed to produce a high trajectory with good grip.
