Features & Benefits
The TOUR BAG COLLECTION XANDER putter, which was released in
2024 and sold out immediately, was a replica of Schauffele’s favorite model, down to the last detail, including the putter cover. The RED SEVEN X putter is made of the same materials and manufacturing methods as the TOUR BAG COLLECTION XANDER putter, but with some changes to the specs and design.
The RED SEVEN X putter is machined from stainless steel
and has a horn-shaped #7 type with a crank neck, and the entire head is precisely machined from stainless steel. It does not have an insert, and the face uses a diamond mill pattern to improve the ball’s roll. The sole has 10g tungsten alloy weights mounted on the front toe and heel to create a shallow center of gravity.
Unique coloring makes the face easy to recognize.
The coloring is Schauffele’s favorite red color for most of the head. Meanwhile, the face is mostly painted black PVD color, leaving only the upper part red. This coloring was adopted to make the face easier to recognize. The shaft is also a stepped black steel model.
The putter is available in two lengths: 33 and 34 inches.
The differences between the RED SEVEN X putter and the putters actually used by Schauffele and the TOUR BAG COLLECTION XANDER putter are the loft angle, lie angle, and putter length. The loft angle has been changed from 2.75 degrees to 3.5 degrees, the lie angle from 71.5 degrees to 70.0 degrees, and the putter length has been changed from the small numerical values of 34.375 inches to the standard two lengths of 33 and 34 inches.
The sole plate and grip have a new design.
The black plate on the sole has been changed, and the Odyssey logo and model name have been printed on it. The grip is a SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol 2.0, just like the putter that Schauffele actually uses and the TOUR BAG COLLECTION XANDER putter, but it has the Odyssey logo on it. A special model of the head cover for the “RED SEVEN X putter” is available.
