It debuted seven years ago in 2017. The insert, which is still strongly supported by tour players, has been added to the series for the first time in a long time. As the name “MICROHINGE Putter” suggests, it is equipped with a MICROHINGE insert with numerous claw-like protrusions visible in the urethane material. Its greatest feature is that it gives the ball a forward rotation at impact, achieving a long and firm roll. Another noteworthy feature is the very soft feel, which matches perfectly with balls with hard compression. Players who hold it in their hands will feel the ease of touch adjustment with each stroke. The head is a type that can be said to be classic in the history of Odyssey, with a total of six models that combine blades and mallets. It also uses VERSA alignment, which is composed of black and luxurious silver, making it easy to set up accurately against the target. The shaft is a stepless steel model, and the grip is equipped with a Pistol type. To make it easier for female players to use, some models are also available in a 32-inch putter length.

The biggest feature of the “MICROHINGE Putter”, which debuted in the 2017 O-WORKS
, is that it is equipped with a Microhinge insert, as the series name suggests. This insert first appeared in the O-WORKS putter that debuted in 2017, and is still popular among tour players. Among Callaway staff players, Sam Burns is known to have used it for a long time until last year, and other names include Akshay Bhatia, Alex Noren, and in Japan, Anthony Quail and Asuka Kashiwabara. This insert is also popular among many non-contract players.
The Microhinge Insert, which has numerous hinges that give the ball a clockwise rotation
, is made of a urethane material and a part with many claw-like hinges molded as one piece, and the hinges give the ball a clockwise rotation at impact. The ball rolls steadily without being affected by the condition of the turf, making it easier to achieve a well-rolling putt along the intended line.
The Microhinge insert has a very soft feel that matches modern balls.
It is also notable for its soft feel, which is softer than the White Hot insert and the Ai-ONE insert. The softness of the Microhinge insert is perfect for modern balls, which tend to have harder compression, making it an insert that gives modern players a better sense of distance.
The lineup includes six models, some of which are available in 32 inches.
The “MICROHINGE putter” is available in a model with Odyssey’s traditional shape. There are two blade types, “#1” and “DW”, and four mallets, “#7 DB”, “#7 S”, “MARXMAN FANG”, and “2-BALL V-LINE”. All models feature VERSA alignment, and the alignment color is a combination of luxurious silver and black. The shaft is a stepless steel model with a MICROHINGE Pistol grip. The “DW” and “#7 DB” are also available in a 32-inch putter length model targeted at female golfers, and these are combined with a MICROHINGE SLIM Pistol grip.
