The first additional model has been released, bringing the series to a rich lineup of 12 models in total. The first additional model has been added to the Ai-ONE MILLED putter, which debuted with eight models late last year. In addition to the ONE WIDE T, JAILBIRD MINI T, and 2-BALL T, which are already used in other series, the lineup also includes the completely new ROSSIE VT, which combines the shapes of ROSSIE and V-LINE. The main technology is the Ai-ONE titanium insert in bronze gold color, designed by AI and made of 6-4 titanium, which suppresses the reduction of ball speed when mishit. . Four new models have been added this time. The “ONE WIDE T” has a wide blade shape similar to the DOUBLE WIDE T that appeared in the Ai-ONE MILLED TRI-BEAM putter, and the toe and heel of the back flange have a smooth curved style without the step that was present in previous blade types. The mallet “ROSSIE VT” is a head that combines Odyssey’s popular model ROSSIE and V-LINE, and is a shape that has never appeared in Odyssey’s long history. The “JAILBIRD MINI T” is equipped with an Ai-ONE titanium insert in the shape of the JAILBIRD MINI, which is also popular in the Ai-ONE putter, and the VERSA alignment on the top of the head is made up of two colors: a color similar to the bronze gold of the insert and navy. The last and fourth is the well-known 2-BALL shape “2-BALL T”, and the two alignment discs are bordered with bronze gold.

The most noteworthy feature of the Ai-ONE MILLED putter is the Ai-ONE titanium insert mentioned above. One of the problems with putting is that the ball speed drops when you hit the ball off-center, and there is data that shows that if the impact point is off by 1 cm to the toe or heel, the ball speed drops by about 20%. In terms of a 10m putt, this would be 2m short. The Ai-ONE titanium insert was developed to solve this problem, and even if the impact point is off by 1 cm, the ball speed decrease is limited to about 5% (50cm at 10m).
Bronze Gold Color 6-4 Titanium Insert
The Ai-ONE Titanium Insert is made of 6-4 titanium as the name suggests, and is finished in a bronze gold color. The back side has a complex ridge designed by AI, and the effect of this ridge is that even off-center hits do not significantly reduce ball speed. This insert is mounted on a stainless steel body and has a dark blue PVD finish.
Weights inside and outside the head create a high moment of inertia.
The Ai-ONE MILLED putter not only has weights of about 10g each attached to the toe and heel of the front of the sole, but also has up to about 20g of tungsten attached to the toe and heel inside the head. These treatments give the Ai-ONE MILLED putter an extremely high moment of inertia, making it easier to achieve a stable stroke.
The “STROKE LAB 90 Shaft” is made entirely of steel
. The Ai-ONE MILLED putter uses a new STROKE LAB shaft. The previous STROKE LAB shaft was a composite shaft of steel and carbon, but while tour players said that they still preferred a steel shaft, they also said that they wanted the stability of the STROKE LAB shaft. In response to these opinions, the new STROKE LAB 90 shaft is made entirely of steel, yet is lightweight at around 90g, with the butt section designed to be the same thickness as the previous STROKE LAB shaft. By reducing the torque, it is designed to suppress unnecessary movement of the shaft during the stroke. A counterweight is also installed inside the shaft on the hand side. The combination of the weight of the head and the lightness of the shaft increases the moment of inertia of the entire putter, resulting in a consistent and stable stroke.
