First to use “floating” weights and step soles, Ai 10x FACE reduces two mistakes
The “ELYTE” fairway woods were developed with a focus on two major mistakes that are a challenge for fairway woods, in addition to achieving a high level of speed and forgiveness. One is the variation in the impact point, and the Ai 10x FACE, which has 10 times the control point compared to the PARADYM Ai SMOKE MAX fairway wood, like the driver, responds strongly to various mishits. The other is impact on the lower part of the face. A tungsten speed wave is installed in a slightly floating state from the inside of the sole, and a step sole design with a shape that makes the rear part float higher due to the step has been newly introduced so that the ball can fly up and down even on a top-like hit. The standard type “ELYTE fairway wood” has a rounded appearance that is typical of Callaway and a shallow face that seems to make it easy to pick up the ball.

Ai 10x FACE that flies straight no matter where you hit it The new
“ELYTE” fairway wood is also equipped with Ai 10x FACE, just like the driver. By improving the capabilities of the software, it is now possible to scan the AI face design down to the finest details, and the number of control points (places on the face that correct for the optimal trajectory) has increased. It is more powerful than the previous model against the deviation of the impact point, which is one of the major mistakes with fairway woods, and you can carry the ball farther and to a narrower landing range no matter where you hit it on the face.
Tungsten Speed Wave that does not inhibit the bending of the lower part
The toe-heel direction of the lower front part of the sole is equipped with a weight called Tungsten Speed Wave, which is characterized by a different installation method from conventional weights. Conventional weights were attached to the inside and outside of the sole by welding or screwing, but while this method achieved the effect of a low and shallow center of gravity, it also had the drawback of inhibiting the bending from the lower part of the face to the front of the sole. The Tungsten Speed Wave is fixed with a screw at a position away from the face surface inside the face, while the part extending to the toe and heel near the face surface is designed to be slightly floating from the inside of the sole. This allows the lower part of the face to bend firmly even at impacts close to the top, allowing the ball to be launched high and far.
Step sole design to reduce unnecessary bounce
The sole design has also been redesigned. It adopts a style with a step in the middle, which was also seen in the 2022 APEX UW, and is called the step sole design. The rear part is slightly higher and floats, reducing the area of the sole that comes into contact with the ground by 57%. This reduces unnecessary bounce of the sole at impact and improves the head release, greatly suppressing mishits on the lower part of the face. At the same time, the design of the front of the sole takes into consideration the instability of the head’s seating due to the rear of the sole floating. It is designed to prevent the face from opening when set on the ground.
The “ELYTE Fairway Wood” is the standard model in the series, following the rounded appearance and shallow face from the previous model
. When you set up, it has a rounded shape that follows the shape of the previous PARADYM Ai SMOKE MAX fairway wood, and the face is shallow, which makes it easy to pick up the ball. The weight is only the aforementioned tungsten speed wave, and there is no weight on the back of the sole. With a longer flight distance than the previous model, a narrow landing range, and high coverage for mishits, this model is suitable for a wide range of players.

The control points on the face have been increased by 10 times, providing more control over the impact point than the previous model.
No matter where you hit the ball on the face, it will go farther and land in a narrower range.
Tungsten Speed Wave
The weight is mounted slightly above the inside of the sole.
This causes the lower part of the face to flex, allowing the ball to be launched higher and further even when hit close to the top.
This makes it easier to mold and allows for greater precision in manufacturing.
Step Sole Design
The contact area with the ground has been reduced by 57%, which reduces unnecessary rebound and improves head release, reducing mis-hits on the lower part of the face.
